山竹颱風外圍環流連兩天在台東外海形成水龍捲，繼15日在大武鄉尚武村釀災後，台東民眾昨早6時又在太麻里鄉北里村外海看見水龍捲，長條形水柱從海面往天空捲升，且持續往北里村岸際前進，時間長達兩分多鐘，隨著逐漸接觸陸面，水龍捲才逐漸散開，終至消失。（記者王秀亭）
