〔記者劉濱銓／南投報導〕日月潭萬人泳渡平安落幕，惟因強風影響，導致水道位移，不僅延後1個半小時下水，也首度出現S形水道，造成泳渡距離變長，徒增風險，承辦單位埔里四季早泳會表示，日後將會加粗水道纜繩，並將水道浮排定錨做得更密集，若水道線仍不幸受損，也會預先派遣船艇吹哨警示，及時修正泳渡路線。
泳會表示，泳渡凌晨才將前一天斷裂的水道繩修復，不料又被強風吹斷，當下緊急以救生艇、竹筏編隊充當水道線，惟因潭面水流關係，泳渡才會出現S形水道。
針對水道線強度，日後將會加粗纜繩，增加彈性，並增加水道浮排定錨數，以更密集的方式增加強度，同時研議更換廠商，引進更適當的設備，確保設施正常。
惟劇烈天氣難以預測，若日後又發生水道位移，將會派船艇前往泳客前端，預先吹哨提醒，及時修正泳渡路線，避免再發生泳道過長，徒增泳客體力消耗，或是失溫等風險。
