左營一名27歲男子日前使用聊天軟體認識援交女「雅琪」，認為對方身材火辣、臉蛋可愛讓人無法抗拒，於是雙方談妥交易價碼4000元並以遊戲點數交換，9月初來到左營區富民路一家超商購買點數，店員察覺有異報警，及時拯救了第一次援交就遇詐騙的黃姓男子。
警方說，超商店員當時已提醒黃男要小心遇到典型的點數詐騙，但黃男不信邪，表明自己是網咖店員，需要買點數儲值，當警方獲報到場後，苦勸黃男多時並找出許多類似案例後，才成功讓他打消念頭，店家事後也退款給黃男，整個援交風波才告一段落。
警方表示，此類點數詐騙常利用男性對一夜情的憧憬，不斷向被害人洗腦，得手後一定失聯，這類案件也因此層出不窮，差點上當的男子也直呼「差點成為詐騙集團的肥羊。」
