〔記者陳彥廷／屏東報導〕受到強烈颱風「山竹」外圍環流影響，屏東到小琉球交通船週六中午過後停駛，週日全天停駛，後壁湖到蘭嶼航線則是週六週日兩天都停駛；恆春氣象站主任薛全義表示，屏東沿海需慎防長浪強風，山區及恆春半島要提防強降雨。
恆春半島墾丁海岸昨天下午已湧現大浪，鵝鑾鼻測得三點四公尺高的大浪，主管機關隨即立起紅旗禁止遊客進入沙灘；小琉球民宿業者昨天不斷接獲退房要求，墾丁地區飯店則以要求延期的房客居多，住房率仍有六到七成。
恆春氣象站主任薛全義說，「山竹」路徑雖然稍微往南修，但七級暴風半徑卻增長到三百二十公里，外圍環流不可小覷，週六下午到週日全天，預估將為屏東山區及恆春半島帶來豪雨或豪大雨，屏東沿海都會出現九到十一級強陣風，提醒民眾注意安全。
