新北市汐止區夢湖路上一處鐵皮木材工廠15日上午5時許，傳出失火意外，30坪大的木材工廠，裡面堆滿易燃的木頭，很快就燒了起來。警消獲報後趕往現場，發現現場山區道路狹窄，僅容一台水箱車通過，大型救災車輛只能在山下待命，其餘救災人員迅速接起水線入內灌救。
雖然木材在場內悶燒不停，而火勢卻再1個小時內獲得控制，救災過程中一度摔到蜂箱，造成大量蜜蜂在現場逃竄，所幸並無造成人員傷亡。目前警消還在對廠內進行灌救，此次火警，共出動78名救災人力，31輛救災車輛及3輛救護車，燃燒面積約為30坪，財物損失尚未估計，詳細起火原因，還要等火災撲滅後，再請火調人員進行調查。
