〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕中央氣象局預估強颱「山竹」將於週五晚間至週六最接近台灣，台東已觀測到浪高4.8米的長浪，氣象專家吳德榮提醒，長浪在山竹登陸呂宋島前只會愈來愈大。
中央氣象局表示，受到山竹颱風影響，今（14）日台灣附近、澎湖、金門及馬祖沿海地區有長浪，目前台東（蘭嶼）、屏東（鵝鑾鼻）、花蓮（花蓮）及宜蘭（龜山島、蘇澳）已觀測到浪高超過1.5米的長浪，其中台東（台東）已觀測到浪高4.8米的長浪，民眾需多加注意。
氣象專家吳德榮在「三立準氣象·老大洩天機」表示，無論是否發布海上警報，山竹行經路徑附近11級風範圍內可激起狂濤，8級風範圍內將伴隨巨浪，航行船隻宜及早避開。
