〔記者張瑞楨／台中報導〕台中市今天凌晨0時許，發生1輛淺色廂型車，在台中市北區民權路，連續撞上3輛民宅騎樓下的轎車，撞擊力道猛烈，還把其中1輛賓士車撞得移位轉了半圈，共3輛車損壞，但沒有人受傷，是單純民事的肇事車禍，怪異的是，廂型車駕駛卻逃逸無蹤，台中市警局二分局交通分隊目前調閱監視器尋找人車當中。
目擊者說，案發時見到一輛接近白色的廂型車，從北區民權路外側車道，由梅亭街往健行路方向行駛，途經民權路時，擦撞民宅騎樓停放的3輛車輛的尾部，無人受傷，目擊者強調，駕駛一度停車，僅數秒之後，隨即開車逃逸，沒有下車查看狀況。
