〔記者曾健銘／新北報導〕新北市新莊區西盛街一社區大樓，今日清晨驚傳女子在家上吊身亡，長年罹患憂鬱症的39歲魏姓女子，疑似不堪疾病折磨，趁著家人還在熟睡時在住家上吊自殺，警消獲報趕抵現場，發現其已無生命跡象，經送醫後仍傷重不治。
鑑識人員初步勘驗，魏女的身上並無明顯外傷，據家屬指稱，魏女生前罹患憂鬱症，懷疑似病症發作才想不開，警方初步排除外力介入，但現場並未發現遺書，詳細自殺原因仍待檢警相驗後釐清。
