〔記者洪瑞琴／台南報導〕南市府宣布，根據中央氣象局晚間8點25分發布的預報，將台南市列入超大豪雨警戒區（24小時累積雨量500毫米以上），已達停止上班上課標準，台南市政府宣布，明日（24）停止上班上課。
這次熱帶性低氣壓帶來豪大雨，除與往常強降雨一般造成地區側溝排水不及之外，更由於具有全面性的降雨特性，造成主要河川廣泛性高水位，成大灣、崑山、仁德一帶低窪地區排水不及，雖建置抽水機組已全力抽排，但側溝及引水路仍有排水不及現象，安南、安定、西港、七股、學甲、北門、麻豆等地區造成積淹現象。
市府呼籲，本次熱帶性低壓降雨持續中，請民眾在市區戶外活動移動宜注意安全並遠離山區及危險區域。
