〔記者曾迺強／嘉義報導〕熱帶性低氣壓挾帶暴雨，前晚起席捲中、南台灣，到今早為止，嘉義縣東石鄉塭仔村、西崙村、布袋鎮過溝地區、義竹鄉後鎮村等村落積、淹水尚未退去；有民眾見到許多魚塭滿堤，在豪雨中流失，紛紛加入抓魚行列，讓養殖戶看在眼裡，心在滴血。
嘉義縣今天雨勢暫歇，台82線快速道路東石段旁，早上有不少民眾在路旁農田，以魚網在滿堤的魚塭旁撈魚，隨手一收就有10幾條魚，吸引路過駕駛停車湊熱鬧，加入抓魚行列。
