〔記者姚岳宏／台北報導〕一對年輕夫妻帶著兒女，趁著暑假尾聲從台中來台北遊玩，下午1時許，卻在信義區虎林街一間小吃店吃中餐時，孩童不慎打翻熱湯，其中11歲男童大腿有2度18%面積燙傷，5歲女童雙腿大腿有2度18%及左手臂2度9%面積燙傷，兩童意識均清醒，送北醫救治。
當時救護車上由母親陪同兩童就醫，父親開著車在後跟隨，夫妻倆都很擔心幼童傷勢，擔心之情溢於言表，警方獲報還在釐清事發原因。
