〔記者楊心慧／台北報導〕現在進入百合花盛開的季節，內湖白石湖地區已有鐵砲百合陸續綻開，花開六至七成，繁花景緻將持續到六月下旬，民眾可趁休假到白石湖地區走走，逛累了還有永結亭及古錐埤觀景平台等休憩空間。
白石湖地方耆老說，鐵砲百合花期可達二至三週，並與台灣百合的花瓣、花萼有所不同，前者花瓣內外皆呈白色、葉形較寬短，後者花瓣與萼片帶有酒紅色條紋。
大地工程處表示，五月下旬是欣賞百合盛開的最佳時節，鐵砲百合已陸續綻放，伴隨荷葉迎風搖曳，景色相當優美。大地處坡地整治科長陳建帆說，目前鐵砲百合開六至七成，繁花景緻將持續到六月下旬，有空不妨到白石湖地區走走。
陳建帆指出，一般人只知道白石湖有草莓，但其實在不同的時序，有各種不同的花卉可供觀賞，當地山清水秀，到白石湖地區不只能賞花，還可以走吊橋，逛以古法砌成的石頭厝、閩南式建築的黃氏古厝，民眾可趁休假規劃一場白石湖之旅。
