小琉球是全台唯一的純珊瑚礁島，豐富的海底生態極具觀光潛力，但船舶錨定頻繁恐傷及底棲珊瑚礁生態系，進而影響附近海域水族食源，小琉球海洋志工隊建議增設「繫錨點」。
小琉球海洋志工隊日前和大鵬灣及東部海岸國家風景區管理處到墾丁觀摩「繫錨點」作法，鵬管處同意設置繫錨點，繫錨就是選定海底岩盤綁定鋼索，再連結最頂端浮球，浮球供船舶套索，船隻就不用再拋錨。
