〔記者劉濱銓／南投報導〕台鐵集集支線火車，今下午4時許從集集龍泉站開往濁水站時，1輛轎車在柵欄放下後仍龜速緩慢行駛，以致來不及駛離平交道，遭火車撞上，轎車左後方被撞凹，所幸未造成傷亡。
警方表示，當時火車剛從龍泉站開出，小轎車在柵欄剛放下時，仍持續進入平交道，但過程中卻一路緩慢行駛，最後車尾還在平交道，就被後方行駛而來的火車撞上，幸好火車速度不快，沒釀成重大事故，惟詳細肇事原因仍待進一步調查。
