「我們曾經打破金氏世界紀錄，這一百一十公尺對我們來說是小CASE，不要擔心。」金城鎮長石兆琘對扛轎勇士頻頻打氣，勉勵大家只要依口號放下、起身，一切沒問題。
金城鎮主辦的「六十六節親子蜈蚣座」是「迎城隍」慶典的系列活動之一，總長一百一十公尺，座上有一百二十四位化妝的小朋友，由家長肩扛著，不僅是孩子重要回憶，更被家長視為「扛起責任」的象徵。
金城鎮公所二○一一年的「迎城隍」慶典，以全長一百七十六公尺的蜈蚣座，人力肩扛遶行一千六百八十公尺，被認證為「世界最長人力肩扛蜈蚣座」的金氏世界紀錄。
昨天親子蜈蚣座啟動儀式由金門縣副縣長吳成典、金城鎮長石兆瑉等人共同主持，總計遶行近四公里。
