警方調查，上午10點多，30歲朱男駕駛物流貨車行經鳳雄營區前鳳旗路時，疑未注意前方有軍用小貨車直接擦撞，導致貨車車頭左側嚴重毀損，朱男夾在駕駛座動彈不得，左腿有骨折，消防人員將他救出後送醫救治，軍用貨車上2名軍人受輕傷無礙。
警方初步調查，案發當時軍車正準備左轉進入鳳雄營區，貨車可能未注意車前狀況或未保持安全距離，駕駛發現時想右切已來不及，而直接撞上，雙方駕駛均無酒駕，詳細肇事原因仍待釐清。
