22歲的朱男說，該批鏢刀為4年前為收藏防身透過網路購買的，並不知道持有這批刀械會違反槍炮彈藥刀械管制條例，也不知道不能帶進世大運場館內。
警方說，昨晚新竹縣第2體育場舉行俄羅斯對英國女子足球賽，朱男是購票入場的觀眾，他在7點45分通過安檢門時，被安檢員警透過X光機影像查出有違禁品，當場攔下檢查發現有刀械後逮捕移送法辦。
