南港運動中心SPA池旁天花板上午10時許無預警掉落，砸傷一名婦人，且造成多名民眾受驚嚇。目前已緊急封閉泳池，暫停對外開放，並展開全面整修。

體育局運動產業科長劉哲明指出，南港運動中心泳池已緊急關閉，展開整修，未來經體育局評估無虞後，才會重新開放民眾使用。他表示，針對已經報名泳池課程的民眾與小朋友，將轉介到其他運動中心，若不願接受轉介，運動中心將退還課程費用。
民眾指出，當時游泳池並未對外開放，只有游泳課學員在使用，所以SPA區沒有太多人，不過有一位坐在SPA區休息的婦人遭掉落天花板砸傷，大家見狀趕緊將人從天花板碎片中拉出來，送上救護車。
