新北市三重客運一輛公車，13日中午12時許行經紅樹林捷運站時突然開始冒煙，司機擔心乘客安危，立即讓所有乘客先行在捷運站附近下車，不料司機又持續駕駛公車，到淡金路一段及中正東路一段交叉路口時，公車引擎室突然起火，路過民眾看到擔心爆炸立即報案，警消到場時司機已經用滅火器自行撲滅火勢，詳細的起火原因仍待進一步調查釐清。
