〔記者林宜樟／嘉義報導〕國道3號北上296.8公里處嘉義縣中埔路段，今天下午5點多發生大貨車翻覆意外，貨車起火燃燒，嘉義縣消防局人員前往救援及滅火，駕駛有多處擦傷，由於貨車翻覆橫躺路面，該處全線封閉約1小時後，國道警察引導車流行駛路肩疏導，預估晚上9點多可恢復通車。
國道3號嘉義中埔路段發生貨車翻覆意外，駕駛受傷送嘉義市聖馬爾定醫院救治，由於整台車橫翻3個車道，造成大塞車，國道警察在現場指揮，火勢於接近6點時完全撲滅，並請吊車拖吊及清理現場路面，該路段塞車超過3個小時，請用路人注意並改道行駛。
