屏東縣近日大雨直直落，7月2日下午2名牡丹鄉民冒雨到牡丹水庫上游的野溪捕魚時遭溪水沖走，一人奮力游上岸，另一人失蹤，屏東縣消防局獲報前往搜救。

屏東縣消防局2日16時51分接獲牡丹分駐所轉報，牡丹水庫上游疑似有民眾落水失蹤，據報為民眾（林姓男子、年約55歲）到「汝仍」溪邊捕捉鰻魚時，疑似不慎落水遭溪水沖走。
消防局從2日到3日搜救行動，共計出動各式消防車輛13車次、救生艇2艇次、消防27人次，並協請屏東縣威鯨救難協會支援5車10人及空拍機前往協尋。
