根據《蘋果日報》報導，當時這輛車未注意交管、撞進管制區後，一名站在小貨車上的工人被撞飛倒地，遭撞擊的貨車則是向前滑行約50公尺、撞上安全島才停下。其他工程人員急忙報警，警方到場後針對肇事貨櫃車駕駛與被撞工程人員進行酒測，檢測出都沒有酒駕，詳細肇事責任，仍待交通隊調查釐清。
