建設局指出，北屯區連坑巷2K+500下邊坡處的山路約6公尺，寬度狹小，且修復該處邊坡需辦理全斷面開挖，為維護通行安全，18日起將封閉道路，封路路段為連坑巷自清水巷口至濁水巷口。
建設局表示，原由東山路往大坑2號步道入口的民眾，在施工期間請改由清水巷前往。而行經連坑巷的66路公車，施工期間左環線將於「1號登山步道口（體訓場）」站後原路折返；右環線將於「2號登山步道口」站後原路折返。
建設局也說，該局已於施工路段周邊設置警告標誌、封路訊息，並於前後各公車站牌張貼公車改道訊息，希望降低道路施工對交通的衝擊，以免造成壅塞及通行不順暢，請用路人多加配合。
