新北市八里區一名57歲的鍾姓男子，今（19日）上午7時許騎乘摩托車，行經八里區中華路二段往八里方向時，因不明原因追撞前方的砂石車，疑似遭砂石車輾過，58歲張姓駕駛發現後趕緊剎車下來察看，見到倒臥在地的騎士後嚇得趕緊報案聲稱自己被追撞，救護人員趕抵時鐘男已經失去呼吸心跳，經急救後到院所幸恢復生命跡象，目前仍在搶救當中，詳細的肇事原因仍待進一步釐清。
