台東地區從14日開始雨下不停，已有部份稻子倒伏了，台東縣議長饒慶鈴今天勘查後表示，針對尚未成熟的倒伏稻子，將要求縣府積極爭取中央納入天然災害救助。
饒慶鈴今天勘查農業受豪雨的影響程度，雖然還無嚴重災情，但部分地區一期稻作出現零星倒伏情況，特別是縱谷地區的關山、鹿野稻田明顯受損。
饒慶鈴聽到農友的憂慮，如果雨不停，再過二、三天稻穗持續泡水恐「穗上發芽」，失去採收價值。
立即與相關農會連繫，請農會人員在雨勢緩和時，針對可以收割的倒伏稻田，迅速協助採收、烘乾，如果已泡水發芽，或尚未成熟的稻作已形成損失，政府應給予災害救助。
