為迎接2018世界書香日，台南市立圖書館22日上午辦理「非讀BOOK台南愛讀冊─種下書香種子」故事劇表演與贈書活動，邀請東區、中西區、南區、北區、安平區及安南區等，46所國小低年級約320位學童參與。
小朋友們一起欣賞由甜甜兒童劇團帶來的《童話總動員》故事劇演出，並於活動現場挑選自己喜愛的書，做為世界書香日的閱讀禮物。
4月22日下午「我的童書大冒險」展覽開展，集結童書創作者的心血，把創作書籍的美好歷程，以有趣的立體及互動形式展出；同日下午亦辦理「書與玫瑰的邀約」閱讀講座，邀請林美琴老師分享兒童閱讀推廣。透過多元互動，提升市民對閱讀的興趣。
台南市立圖書館辦理「2018世界書香日」系列活動，藉由多元豐富的活動，培養市民的閱讀興趣，推動「書香大台南」的城市目標。
