清明連假即將到來，不料國道一號3日傍晚6點多隨即傳出連環車禍，造成車流回堵至少5公里。據了解，3輛大貨車與2輛轎車在南下203公里的花壇戰備道發生追撞，造成現場嚴重回堵，一路擁塞至彰化交流道，目前警方已到場處理。
國道警方指出，事故發生後，南下203公里現場一輛大貨車占用路肩，另一輛大貨車則打橫占用三個車道，現場一片凌亂，導致車流回堵至南下198公里，目前警消已趕抵現場，正在進一步釐清肇事原因，還請用路人減速慢行，以策安全。
