〔記者林欣漢／新北報導〕邁入第20年的平溪天燈節，今年與台灣三麗鷗合作，打造12呎三麗鷗明星主燈，上頭有Hello Kitty、布丁狗、大耳狗、帕恰狗四位三麗鷗明星，下午主燈現身，民眾直呼「卡哇伊」；另一焦點是新北市警犬隊的「福星」、「多多」等警犬們，超萌模樣融化眾人合照搶拍。
晚上天燈節預計施放8波天燈，每波有150盞，今年搶得天燈施放券頭香的民眾是來自日本的君口小姐，君口說，這是第3次來平溪遊玩，上午6點就來現場排隊，能夠搶到頭香非常開心。
