〔記者蕭婷方／台北報導〕台北市士林區重陽橋引道為連接淡水河兩端重要道路，每日往返北市士林區與新北市三重區機車大多都行經此路段，由於車輛多、道路卻十分狹窄，交通事故頻傳。去年北市著手進行道路拓寬工程，預計本週日就可通車。
北市政府工務局新建工程處於前年開始著手進行「士林重陽橋機車引道彎度過大改善工程」，為提升機車引道安全性及舒適性，新設重陽橋機車引道及人行鋼構橋、自行車牽引道；機車引道通行寬度由原本的3公尺增加至4公尺，轉彎半徑由6.5公尺加大為25公尺，速限由15公里/小時提高至25公里/小時。
目前新設機車引道與人行鋼橋已完成，將於本週日（4日）先行開放機車族及步行民眾使用，至於自行車牽引道及堤外人行棧道也將於3月底前竣工，供自行車族使用。
