用電量創新高，再加上台電桃園大潭電廠6部機組跳脫，造成全台15日下午大停電；而在台北市部分，目前統計北投、大安、萬華、內湖、松山、士林、信義皆有部分範圍停電狀況。北市交通局也指出，全北市共有95個YouBike站受到影響，呼籲民眾至鄰近站借、還車。
北市府15日下午指出，受到台電大潭電廠跳電影響，根據各區回報，目前北投、大安、萬華、內湖、松山、士林、信義皆有部分範圍停電狀況，仍在清查中，也緊急透過產業局跟台電聯繫主，確認北市受停電影響的範圍和搶修狀況。
另外，北市交通局也指出，有多處路口號誌不亮，包含忠孝基隆、基隆松隆、忠孝松山、中山愛國、重慶民族、承德民族等大路口，目前已由各分局派員現場疏導，號誌工程隊並將針對大路口送發電機，以維持電力及號誌運作。
