HVL男排6強賽上演「雲林內戰」，大成商工穩定發揮，以3：0輕取麥寮高中，闖進4強後將對決去年亞軍福誠高中，總教練吳凱憲表示，過去雙方交手大成都落敗，球員自信心難免會比較不足，不過還是會鼓勵球員，先求穩，「只要球員不要緊張，穩定發揮、打好節奏，我們也有機會贏球。」
因為都在雲林縣內，大成商工和麥寮高中在縣內常常交手，對彼此也都很熟悉，所以這場比賽也是考驗穩定度及抗壓性，吳凱憲說，「雖然在第二局球員因為一心求勝有點太過急躁，遭到對手追上，不過我們後來穩住陣腳，才能拿下勝利。」
下一戰面對福誠高中，大成商工隊長莊哲育說，雖然過去從來沒有贏過，不過近幾場對上都能打滿五局，「不久前的莒光盃，我們率先取得賽末點，結果卻因為失誤輸球，所以其實我們還是有贏球的機會，就好好把握。」
