新北市樹林區昨（15日）下午近5時下班時間發生一起車禍事故，一名31歲張姓男子開車經大安路，準備左轉保安街一段往迴龍方向時，與對向由52歲李姓男子駕駛的直行車發生側撞，雙方車頭皆受嚴重毀損，所幸2人有繫安全帶，經檢查傷勢皆無大礙。
據了解，雙方駕駛人當時疑似都在紅綠燈轉換之際，為搶快因快速通行造成碰撞。警方對2人施予酒測，都沒測得酒駕反應，肇事責任有待釐清。由於發生車禍時間正值下班交通尖峰期，樹林警分局也立即派遣警力到該路口實施交通管制，讓經過該路口的駕駛可以順利通過。
警方提醒，交岔路口是道路系統的連結點，因車流運行特性（分流、併流、穿越）較為複雜，車輛交織情況頻繁，隱含許多潛在的危險性，易發生交通事故，民眾行經路口應減速慢行，以避免憾事發生。
