台南市南區喜樹路151巷45號至51號民宅，每遇豪大雨必淹水，民眾苦不堪言，向台南市議員參選人林志文陳情，15日林志文偕同喜東里長蔡祠重，市府水利局、工務局，南區公所人員現勘。
現勘發現易淹水幾戶民宅對面並無排水箱涵，且地面高，雨水瞬間大量往陳情戶方向順流，致使陳情戶門前的排水箱涵無法負荷如此大的雨量，發生民宅內淹水的現象。
林志文表示，民宅內淹水是民眾生活惡夢，找出排水問題，解決淹水問題，讓民眾生活舒適，市府刻不容緩。水利局科長葉俊良表示，陳情戶前道路下有設大箱涵，若要應急減緩淹水現象，建議在陳情戶前的排水箱涵多鋪設排水支管至大箱涵，讓雨水排洩量增大，應可減輕淹水現象。
工務局人員表示，鋪設排水支管至大箱涵，減少淹水的可能，這工程會與區公所聯繫會商，希望能盡快動工。
