7日中午位在松山區慶城街的「日本台灣交流協會」遭人潑漆，1名年約50歲的陳姓男子，對著交流協會石碑潑上紅漆後就在現場等待，員警獲報到場後直接將他逮捕。
結果陳男被逮後，統促黨捍衛隊的李承龍也到場發表演說，內容陳述日本當時是如何欺負台灣人；據潑漆的陳姓男子表示，因為不滿日前日本水產廳以水砲攻擊台籍漁船所以才會到日台交流協會潑紅漆，警方目前仍在釐清他是否為統促黨員，訊後依違反社維法送辦。
