徐欣瑩表示，天官中有賜福氣的福星、求健康長壽的壽星、喜事臨門的喜星、求考試升官的祿神等.. ..，貼在家中可保佑全家福祿壽喜，新年旺旺旺；「金元寶」冰箱磁鐵貼，象徵財寶滿庫。
徐欣瑩發放春聯前，也在市場入口邀請民眾、攤商與義工一起跳現在最熱門的抖肩舞，逗趣的動作，讓現場笑聲不斷；稍後她向攤商及採辦年貨的民眾拜年時，不少熱情的支持者買象徵好彩頭的菜頭、步步高升的年糕、旺旺來的鳳梨等年貨贈送給她，祝她人氣旺旺、高票當選。
