〔記者周敏鴻／桃園報導〕桃園市台66線道快速道路新屋路段晚間9點左右，發生兩輛汽車擦撞意外，兩名男駕駛下車察看並擺放三角警示牌，豈料黃姓男子開著休旅車沒看到警示牌，高速撞上2人，致1人死亡、1人受傷仍在醫院治療中。
警方說，死者是中年男性、身分待查，當時他開車行經該路段時，與劉姓男子的車輛擦撞，2人下車查看，卻被黃姓男子駕駛休旅車撞上。
消防隊員獲報趕來，將劉姓男子送醫，消防隊員說，死者因受到猛烈撞擊，右大腿斷裂、身體嚴重變形，當場死亡。至於劉姓男子多處擦傷，目前仍在衛福部桃園醫院新屋分院治療。
3人經調查都沒有酒精反應，警方說，黃姓男子供稱因夜晚視線不清，才沒看到前方事故與警示牌。警方將會調查釐清肇事經過與責任，並依過失致死罪嫌追究黃姓男子的責任。
