拉拉山神木區今天氣溫持續下探，上午11點左右逼近攝氏1度，降下冰霰，下午3點多，氣溫直逼攝氏零度，終於在遊客的滿心期待中，降下第一波白雪。
公路總局考量北橫公路下巴陵到明池間的高山路段，可能因為氣溫過低導致路面結冰積雪，將於晚間7點起封閉北橫公路47公里處到60﹒776公里處路段，以免人車通行發生危險。
公路總局人員補充，北橫公路交通管制時間到4日上午7點止，但因為海拔較高的明池、上巴陵、拉拉山神木區等地區可能道路結冰或積雪，管制時間結束後，仍僅會開放加掛雪鍊的車輛通行管制路段，呼籲用路人配合。
