信義鄉農會表示，今年冬茶生長期間雨水不足，加上氣溫不夠低，致冬茶滋味略減，參加的茶樣都來自信義鄉高山茶區，透過QR Code確認產地，特等茶價格每斤約六萬元。
黃加棟表示，今年暖冬，茶葉確實不好做，但透過分析天候狀況調整製茶工序，在茶葉於八分熟時採下，並增加室內萎凋次數，增加茶湯滋味與喉韻。
