警方調查，工廠已經做好該有的安全警戒，老翁也稱是自己一時恍神，導致沒有注意前方放置三角錐，才會導致車禍。警方提醒，家中若有老人家騎車外出，近來天候狀況不佳，東北季風強勁務必注意安全。
